Rosa had a really wonderful day at this show, gaining her first GCCFI CC, Best of Breed over 4 other adult Sphynx and placing first in her side class of nine! Mrs Luxford-Watts was her judge and opened her critique by describing her as "very striking, brilliant black tortie and white girl immaculately presented". We were thrilled to see Rosa's "perfect bite and lovely firm chin" praised as well as her "good modified wedge head". We were so delighted by the results for Rosa at this show.

Rosa was awarded a CC and Best of Breed at this show, with her daughter DaddyO Roly Poly coming a close second. Rosa had another good day and received a wonderful report from her judge Mrs Clare who liked her 'excellent type strong rounded muzzle". We were absolutely overjoyed with Rosa's CC and to experience the first chance for Sphynx in Ireland to compete at championship status.

This was intended to be Rosa's final show due to her increasing shyness but she amazed us by enjoying her day, being very affectionate and engaging with visitors. Rosa won her third GCCF Intermediate Certificate, Best of Breed and received a fantastic report from Mrs Green who felt she was "A very stylish exhibit who is svelt but with surprising weight and substance." The icing on the cake was the closing comment of "I loved her". A wonderful critique to receive from the show where Rosa became the first female Sphynx to hold 3 ICs under the GCCF and the GCCFI and got her showing mojo back!

Mrs Stevenson was Rosa's judge again, but under the GCCFI this time. We saw the judging and Rosa was reluctant to leave her pen. We are very grateful to Mrs Stevenson and her steward for the care they took to assess Rosa in a manner she was comfortable with. Rosa won her third Irish IC with another nice critique noting the "good hard muscular feel of her body" and "delightful long toes".

Rosa was rather nervous at this show and was happier snuggled up in her pen. Mrs Stevenson awarded a second GCCF IC to Rosa finding her "very attractive". A "level bite and a strong chin" were commented upon and we were very pleased with her critique.

This was a very successful day for Rosa. She won her second GCCFI IC, Best of Breed and became Best Foreign Adult, the first time a Sphynx has been placed as Best of Variety at a GCCFI show. Mrs VA Anderson, the judge, liked the "super feel to her skin" and her "beautiful...very expressive" eyes. She also noted that Rosa was shown in "super condition" which we were very pleased about as it was the first time we had shown a Sphynx after motherhood.

Rosa was a lot more relaxed at this, her second show. She seemed to know what was going on and despite singing all the way to Bangor in the car, she was in tip top form. Again, she welcomed a lot of attention from the visitors. Her tortoiseshell and white markings really attract people over to look at her and then Rosa's attention seeking does the rest.

Mrs. Denny awarded Rosa an I.C. describing her as "well balanced...firm chin, level bite". Her "wrinkled skin around muzzle and shoulders" was mentioned as was the fact that Rosie handled well for judging.

This was Rosa's first cat show. I was hoping that she would love it as she is such an extrovert but she was quite uncertain at first. Like most cats, she had relaxed a lot by the time judging had taken place. Rosa enjoyed the attention from the visiting public, especially the children. One lovely memory is of Rosa lying on her back purring while a boy sat on the floor in front of her pen with both hands through the open door stroking her.

Unfortunately we do not have a critique from Rosa's judge on the day but he did award her an Intermediate Certificate, making her the first female Sphynx to receive a GCCFI IC which is a special landmark for us!
