Rexivel Rosa Klebb has been shown very successfully. She is the first female Sphynx to be awarded a CC in Ireland - at the Erin Cat Club show in September. She holds the 3 required Intermediate Certificates under both the GCCF and GCCFI - the only female Sphynx to do so. She became the first Sphynx ever to be awarded the honour of Best Foreign Adult under the GCCFI in October 2010. Rosa had her first litter of kittens in May 2010, sired by Bubus. They are a nice match for each other and had 4 very nice, easy to raise healthy kittens. Rosa was a great mother, very relaxed and calm despite it being her first time. Her son, DaddyO Blackpuddin has been shown and done well. DaddyO Blackpuddin is the first cat with our DaddyO prefix to win an Intermediate Certificate and Best of Breed. He took the honour of Best Foreign Neuter at the GCCFI Supreme show in 2011, first Sphynx to do so in Ireland. This show also took him up to the required 3 ICs so we are very proud of him!
Rosa's second litter was born in May 2011, also sired by Bubus. We had two beautiful boys - DaddyO Jumblebug is black and white and DaddyO Grumblebun is blue and white. DaddyO Jumblebug was 1st in his kitten class and also won Best of Breed at the Cork Cat Club Show on 25th September 2011.
Rosa is such a character, life is never dull with her around! She is a very chatty girl with a whole range of sounds. She gets on very well with all our cats and it takes an enormous amount of provocation to make her irritable. She has a very powerful and loud slap and that usually sorts out any trouble! She is the apple of Bubus' eye and he quite happily lets her take over his bed, food bowl, toys, anything at all so he can sit and gaze at her.
She has grown into a very nice looking Sphynx with beautiful skin feel. Motherhood has quietened Rosa down ever so slightly but she is still a very funny, excitable girl who is a ray of sunshine in the family.
